Texas caps what any notary may charge for the notarial act itself. Travel and handling are mine to set, and quoted in writing before anything is booked. Both are published below, separately, as the law expects.

These are the maximum fees any Texas notary may charge for the notarial act itself, set by Texas Government Code §406.024. Texas requires this schedule to be displayed where clients can see it. This page is that posting.

Where several people sign one instrument and each requires their own certificate, each is a separate act at $10. The $1 rate applies only to additional signatures sharing a single certificate.
